couldn't resist...
After this morning's 7:30am telecon, I was eating my morning oatmeal and reading the local newspaper. The letters page was full today of right-wing chest-thumping and calls for any dissenters to sit down and be quiet.
I'm *highly* counter-suggestive... after resisting the temptation to respond-in-kind for several weeks, I finally succumbed and wrote a counter-letter to the editor expressing my doubts that anything useful will come from the current conflict in Iraq. I don't expect them to actually print it, but it felt good to express myself (rather than be cowed by howling would-be patriots)...
