The San Jose Mercury printed my letter, after all... albeit in dumbed-down form with some of the content missing. Still, at least I was heard. Otherwise, no apparent change on the freeway overpass...

I think that it is great that they thought what you wrote should be printed. Now, what is going on with the overpass?

The mayor promised that Caltrans would inspect the overpass and remove any decorations (i.e., yellow streamers that someone has tied to fencepoles)...
