I don't follow a set pattern in daily life. One day is different in its content and timing from the previous... the next will be different still. For example, I never arrive at work at a consistent time... one day at 7, the next at 9:45, the next at 8:50. It depends on what is scheduled, and what else is going on on those mornings. It seems strange to think of living in a routine or pattern, doing the same things at the same times each day. It is hard to imagine enjoying a routine life... I like every day to be different, to force me to make conscious plans and choices every day.

Larger, familiar patterns coming together unpredictably? That's how I view my day-to-day life... and I also find some stability or comfort in that recognition. In a dance class, I may not know when a familiar dance will appear, or even the tune to be used, but I still feel the flash of recognition and confidence when that dance is called.

Life as a dance class? Oh, I like that...~BG~

(When I read this I instantly thought of radio stations and unpredictable playlists as well as local museums with revolving collections. You never know what part of your self will rise to the surface if any.)

Anyhoo, on a different note completely, I don't think I have formally said hello. Greetings!

(rechecks, realizes that he has left something amiss)

(blush)

Greetings in return, and hello!
