It's freezing and windy outside, after dinner, rain threatening, and I'm about to go on a traverse to Trinity Lake to run a set of gravity stations. Wish me luck... back in three hours, hopefully not too damp.
Ha! The way things had been going, I was more worried about the gravity meter (Pascal had forgotten to refasten the damper while on his Humvee traverse, possibly damaging the instrument) and that I was taking out three new folks, playing guide while trying to get data.
The weather could have been a nuisance, but was actually reasonably pleasant... maybe 3-4C, wind wasn't even 14 kt, and small patches of blue visible after midnight.
