All work?

Today was full of air traffic project strategy sessions and travel arrangements.

(shakes head) I seem to be capable of working out schedules and plans to fine levels of detail, meshing smoothly... at work.

When it comes to planning a social life, that's just a low priority. Weekday evenings are extensions of worktime, or busy with the kids and household. Most weekends, I don't even think about social plans until Friday evening. Like now.... I have no plans tonight, or Saturday. Maybe I'll go out somewhere with [profile] patgreene, but nothing's settled. Meanwhile, friends of mine have concerts, dates, events and parties scheduled months ahead into the future. I have no idea how they find all of these ideas or activities... (wondering).

And I avoid TV and videos, too, so many weekend nights... there's nothing to do except housework or NASA work. I assumed that this was/is normal...

[Addendum: this was musing on my characteristic lack of social planning, and work vs. play priorities, not an indirect communication asking for specific things to do... I'm glad of such, as well, but [profile] patgreene and the kids and I leave on a week's vacation Sunday morning.]

Oooh, that sounds like fun! Although I'll probably be home packing... maybe the sixth installation (what day is the recall election, again? ;)

Dinner tommorrow night?

Maybe you can convince me to eat something.
Dunno.
