Tipsy. Day went well, albeit echoey-solemn. SD and I got to know each other better tonight (not *that* way... she works for me as a student intern). Discussing the finer points of various substances. She didn';t quite talk me into surprising geekchick with a tattoo, but close.

No, no, piercings are not necessarily permanent. If you get one and decide you don't like it, you just take out the jewelry and let it heal up. If you decide you don't like your ink, there's not much to do about it short of expensive removal processes. If you one day change your mind and decide to get some metal, I bet both patgreene and I would be willing to come along and hold your hands (heck, I could get more myself while I'm at it). ;)
