Shamelessly self-promoting...

See our press release from yesterday. Non-students can watch, too. Although I still haven't turned in my charts for translation... HC and I talked today about running a live software demo during my lecture, using a drilling software simulation that we've developed with folks at UC Berkeley.

will we un-scientists have any clue what you're saying? it will be a highly technical presentation assuming a huge body of knowledge and vocabulary, yes?

Very cool.
If I'm home from my trip when you do your talk... maybe I'll try to peek at it.
:)

Most of it (I haven't finished it yet) will be understandable, but a few bits of jargon will creep in...

Have a fun trip, and mine is on 10/8... but at 7am Pacific.
