One last full day in Nerva, then homeward...

Today: comment on remote science notes from [personal profile] hopeforyou and KS. Show Jose-Antonio where the MINI software goes. Get the last team signatures on the picture for Casiano and award it and a NASA hat to him at lunchtime. Emails and phone calls to CS about institutional conflicts... at least we're OK with our Spanish hosts. Figure out how to keep the hotel DSL going after the end of the month. Start processing cores from the next hole (I hope) and provide hands-on training. After-lunch telecon with the folks back in the US. Look at the mining museum -- I've been here for 2+ weeks and not seen it, outside of our lab space. And pack, and clear our my samples and equipment. Maybe carouse around Nerva again after dinner, one more time...

Mining museums are wacky. [livejournal.com profile] srd was kind enough to translate most of the one tour I did make it to, and WHOA...

Next time I'll make it to more. And study my mining vocabulary more. :>

I bought a bag of five rocks there. I kind of like rocks. I wonder if I like them enough to research something about them.
