Weekend suggestions?

jaypatgreene is going away this weekend to a women's retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This means I'll have the three kids, no problem. It also means that with a sitter I can go out Friday or Saturday (or both!) without pushing abandonment buttons at home :-). An opportunity... except I can't find anything to do. It looks like a slack weekend, upcoming. Does anyone local have any suggestions? Public evening events? Interest in dinner or roaming around?
