Dec. 8th, 2001 10:30 pmWhen asked last Wednesday by Pat what I would accept in trade for my cleaning the fuzzy black mildew out of her shower (I won't go in there as it stands), I paused. And then asked for her to not make a fuss when I had lunch with my quasi-LDR, Julie, later in the week.
She promised no hurt looks, tantrums or guilt trips. But asked me to (a) not tell Pat which day we were seeing each other, so she wouldn't sit at home visualizing then -- just a range of days. And "no gory details" discussed afterward.
Since Pat isn't likely to read this, at least not before Tuesday, I can safely say that Julie and I had a lovely lunch yesterday. I drove 1-1/2 hours north to Petaluma, she drove 45 min south, and we had barbecue and talked and cuddled. Very nice, and worth driving three hours for. So tomorrow I'll be covered in bleach solution and suds...
