Update, thanks, focus

Thanks greatly for all of the hugs and expressions of support. I won't be able to acknowledge each one individually here, but I've told Pat ;-).

I finally saw patgreene last night around 7pm, after having been told for 3 hours that I'd be allowed to see her momentarily in the recovery room. I went to the nursing desk, was asking again for an update.... and peripherally saw two female orderlies wheeling her down the hall. I wheeled and dashed after them, bags of Pat's personal gear in hand, running after them with what must have been a rather annoyed expression. They took a defensive posture... I slowed and explained that I was the next-of-kin. They looked dubious, but continued on toward the hospital wards.
