whirrrr...
Jun. 27th, 2003 07:51 amAfter a few marginally-high blood pressure readings during medical appointments (typically 135/90), my physician wanted me to be screened for incipient hypertension. So since yesterday afternoon, I've been wearing a monitor... electrodes stuck to my chest, a box on my waist, and a cuff on my left arm that squeezes my arm numb every 20 minutes. And I can't bathe until they remove it, at 2pm today... so my co-workers may suffer today, considering how hot it's been here (100F yesterday, no air conditioning).
