Jun. 28th, 2003 07:19 pmThe bug-bomb fumes are fading... I put two in the garage this afternoon, given a recent invasion from the sewers (the city has dug up the streets outside). We all went to the Rugrats movie, while we waited...
Tomorrow the kitchen counters will come out of hiding in the garage, where they've been waiting for three years for sanding and refinishing.
Tonight... time to feed the kids, shower and face up to the probability of loneliness and social trauma at a local pool party. It's a community event... and I'm drawn to socialize and be around people, even though I'm not very good at it. Sigh. Yes, I'm going alone... anyone who could have conceivably been willing to go there with me is either not going at all, or is going with someone(s) otherwise.
