I think I'm in Kansas...
Oct. 1st, 2005 08:27 amIn Lawrence, Kansas... 24 hours ago I was in showering in my Madrid hotel. Funeral is at 11am tomorrow.
The flight over the Atlantic was okay... no upgrade this time, and I got in a shouting match with the occupant of the seat in front of me, but I slept for three hours. No problems in Customs. I was able to have dinner in Minneapolis with Nancy before catching a third flight to here. The contrast between Madrid and rural Kansas is a bit surreal, but I'm glad to see family here.
