back in Atlanta...
Dec. 24th, 2005 01:20 amAfter driving back up today (Friday) from St. Petersburg... it was pleasant, a sunny and mild 500 miles. After we all had had a parting breakfast at Skyway Jack's, as is family tradition ;).
I found myself in a work telecon at 4pm...
patgreene was driving... it was regarding reorienting our drilling R&D efforts towards nearer-term lunar mission opportunities. One such could launch in less than 3 years, as a possible Lunar Reconaissance Orbiter piggyback. The nominal 30-minute telecon took 90... during which (a) my three kids remained absolutely quiet (!), in the back seat, and (b) we drove through Jackson, Ga. and were far gone before I could contact
sisterfish125 about stopping by (sorry... :( ).
Tomorrow... last-minute shopping and preparations, then accompanying my brother's family to their Christmas Eve service (they have a singing feature there, doing something). And now that I have broadband access again, I'll post a few photos.
