Actually, 1.994m, but close enough... now in an automatic bit change. I'm about to go fill the repeater's generator tank, then try to get my first shower in a *week*, back at camp... a present to myself. :)

Nice phone calls from home, this afternoon....

Hot water felt... lovely. I was tingly afterwards... and steam was rising off of bare skin and condensing, afterwards. I'm not sore anymore when I sit down (rashes and use of alcohol hand cleanser... ow)! Clean clothes, 3 new layers (including tenacious_snail's birthday present.

Drilling wise... 2.10m total depth, which exceeds last year's total. So we're going to knock off today at 6pm instead of pushing to 8-9pm.

43 people singing in the kitchen tent... (blush). dangerpudding made a great dinner (roast pork loin with the same blueberry-basil sauce as at my birthday dinner at GH last year). and two German chocolate cakes... even though she couldn't even eat any herself (nut allergy). I feel loved, appreciated, and slightly sheepish at all of the fuss. And Steve has season 6 of "Red Dwarf" to show... ;)
