That wasn't scary...

Had a nice lunch today with yami_mcmoots in Berkeley, at a Ghanaian restaurant... tangy chicken, plantains and I actually ate the black-eyed peas. And we found each other OK outside of BART, and happily chatted about a wide variety of topics... instruments, vibrometers, relationship structures, space structures, graduate school comparisons, beer... etc. It's fun to find someone with whom I can shift gears from technical to personal and back without either weirding them out or risking the "eyes glaze over" effect. (grins) M. does focussed, animated discussions very well.

And thanks to tenacious_snail for the car loan, since mine is still in the shop... and cyan_blue for a short ride from San Leandro BART, afterwards ;).
