Jun. 22nd, 2007 08:10 amAfter a busy day yesterday, back and forth between telecons in the hotel and the NSTC conference site at the U. Md. conference center. One I conducted from inside my car at the the conference site parking deck. But we have board clearance to proceed with next month's (human test subject) EVA physiology 10km walkback tests. Now just shipping and travel details remain, and a test readiness review at JSC next Tuesday. I will be back on the road again, next week, leaving Monday early for Houston.

tenacious_snail at the airport, between telecons... she says that she had a good visit, playing tourist downtown during daytimes.
Last night,geekchick and I celebrated our (slightly belated) 5-year anniversary with dinner at the same restaurant in Tyson's Corner (Da Domenico) where we went when we first met in-person. Good food, lots of reconnecting, and it was hard to let go at the end of the evening. ;)
Today... I'm in the Northwest lounge at DCA, waiting for my flights homeward. But it has been a good week.
