The kittens now have names... the black one is "Chocolate" (by Kevin), the black-and-white kitten outside is "Penwiper" (by... patgreene). The former was cranky this morning, and back to hissing at me when I changed the food and water and cleaned the cage this morning.

At the same time, we have a local colony... Coming home late last night, in my headlights in the street was the mother cat, a big black and white cat that looked like geekchick's Gateway, and *3* kittens, including Penwiper. And maybe another female cat in the bushes...

At least Chocolate has stopped hissing, calming down remarkably once zir sibling was brought in.

I have a really nifty warm pointy hat that karenbynight made me for a birthday present -- and she also sewed on a couple of project patches on my flight jacket tonight... she rocks! :D And I have items to bring to dangerpudding...
