She's done it! 50,000 words and counting... patgreene persisted despite illness, drama at home, holidays, retreats and ER visits. I'm impressed... congratulations, dearest!

Even despite being stranded in a dead car with two of the kids, blocking the rightmost lane at the 101-85 interchange this afternoon (bad battery)... that was scary.

She wisely called 911 right away to summon a police car, before they were tail-ended... then called me to come and jump-start it. We eventually nursed it home, but I'll need to put in a new battery tomorrow.
