Sigh. Pat's sinus infection and insomnia are bothering her... she's gone back to bed, after church. Our convertible is dead, the van is flaky and we're going to attempt to drive to the Dickens Christmas Fair this afternoon, courtesy of [profile] bdot's tickets. I have no idea if I'll see anyone familiar there, so I'm planning otherwise. Mixed as to whether I should attempt costuming... what if the car breaks down alongside 101? And no one else here wants to do so. I am singularly unmotivated to do *anything* today... let alone do a bad job of dress-up and then embarrass myself.

If you're unsure about whether your costume is going to work, why don't you go without this year and get a look at what other people are wearing, and then get some ideas and go in costume next year?

Having invested some time and effort in assembling the pieces.. I finally decided whiskey-tango-foxtrot, it's just for fun, go ahead. I was under/wrong-dressed for period, overdressed for mundane, but it was okay. And I did get ideas for next year :-).
