Thank you. Many friends showed up for the party. I hope we didn't miss you on the invite list. It got mangled and we didn't get a lot of replies, but many friends showed up anyway.
At one point, I was giving some friends a tour of the new place and introducing them to other friends, and I just said, why don't we just do the LJ names as well, since everyone in the room had them (it was like ten people). And of course, many of them knew each other on LJ but were meeting in person for the first time. I guess that is what community is about.
I wasn't on the list, but heard about it from friends who were going. No worries -- I wouldn't have been much company last night anyway :-). Although the double-take -- your matching RL to LJ identities -- would have been interesting. And I'm glad that you guys have finished the move in to the new place, wherever it is (happy housewarming! :-).
Well... yes, but I'm not on any of the other Rabbits' friends lists, and seeing several other LJ friends' entries about an upcoming event doesn't really qualify ;-).
Does this mean that the move isn't finished, after all? Oops...
I would like to add you to our Rabbit Village mailing list, if that is okay? Then you too will get the invitations to to all the wonderful events at the Rabbit Warren.
(blush) sure, but this was originally just a happy-birthday wish... not some dreadfully-indirect means of lobbying to get on your mailing or invitation list!
