Note to self... keeping toilets sterile during long road trips with a couple of cups of bleach works well... as long as one remembers to flush it before resuming normal operations. Otherwise... mixing ammonia with bleach... not a good idea!

ammonia / bleach

I remember when I was about nine month pregnant with you and my nesting instinct was all worked up, I decided to really clean the kitchen floor in the apartment we were living in at that time. You got it, I used an ammonia based cleaner then decided that to really clean good I would add some bleach. It's a wonder I didn't kill us both. Fumes developed and enveloped me. I had to leave the house. Dad finished getting up the chemicals. Of course I was only 19 years old at the time and could plead inexperience instead of dumbness. But the floor really did get clean.Maybe that is the reason you are so brilliant, a big dose of toxic fumes just before birth! Funny I had almost forgotten about doing that really dumb trick.

We loved having you guys. I love you very much and miss you. The boys are absolutely wonderful. I'm very proud of all of you.

I think instead of killing us the fumes just turned that hair of yours red and curley. And a smart mouth ;)

Yes that is the monster who will wreck havoc on our lives:/ I decided to call him Grits. Dad is taking me to pick him up, unless the doctors tell him he can play golf. I don't think that the doc will release him to play. I bet by the time we see you again he will be telling cute stories about what Grits has done. And probably taking credit for getting him.

Anyway all is well although somewhat quiet. I guess that's a good thing, given your dads health. But we do miss you guys.

Actually, I might have been interested in taking the golden retriever puppy that y'all returned, if I'd known about it at the time... but bichons have a nasty reputation around small kids, they knock them over. Good luck with it...

Your kidding right:-} The most these dogs ever weigh is 20 lbs. Dad's already said he would probably want to hold it and play with it a little. And that it would be nice for the girls to have to play with when they come over. Next thing it will be all his idea. OK with me.
