(yawn)

Up at 4:30am again, to go to the airport to go to Washington, DC overnight for a two-hour meeting with the FAA tomorrow morning that I have no idea about my role in, because JL wants me to be there...

... [personal profile] geekchick has agreed to see me for dinner tonight, which is arguably the counterbalancing virtue of this trip. Otherwise, $800 in travel costs and two days of my time just because WebEx is considered alien technology to the FAA.

Webex is alien technology to the FAA....why not demonstrate it to them on this trip?

Gah. I just don't get it. Two hours for $800...is that correct? Are there no other meetings this trip?

Actually, it was only 90 minutes, and it was a disorganized meeting at that... I spent longer than that afterwards with JL and two others doing a post-mortem on why things had gone so badly...

Brian C works at WebEx. If you tell him who to pitch he will pitch them. Hugs T

Maybe I've just been reading too many Far Side cartoons latley, but I keep imagining the WebEx guys with tentacles, green skin, and five eyes.
