Rebounding a bit

Life is improving, despite hail locally this morning... I went to court Wednesday morning and watched a friend's divorce trial, then had lunch with her and a couple of other friends (S,
p3aches) afterward. I expect that this friend will ultimately get most of what she asked for in terms of support, given the really lame arguments made by opposing counsel (and reading the judge's body language).
Then T-ball Wednesday evening... that's hugely funny. Five-year-olds trying to play baseball. Kevin was running home from third base as the batted ball rolled up the baseline -- and he reached down, picked it up and threw it ;-). That was followed by an evening gymnastics show by David and the other 2nd-graders at school, and finally my own ice skating lessons. The exercise helped... and I can now do a two-footed spin and a spiral (outside edge, head down and forward, other foot lifted behind).
Yesterday I finally finished my report reviewing different approaches to onboard vehicle health management for the Space Launch Initiative folks. One giant aerospace company's approach was noncompetitive, the other two were pretty close. It kept me at work until nearly eight. Then I went home and had an argument with Pat over who should be covering which kid-events during weekday hours. She felt unappreciated and overlooked, with some justification. We made up nicely ;-).
