Another pleasant outing

jayA reasonably pleasant evening... the pool party itself was good -- nice stars overhead and air temperature. patgreene and I kept each other company as well as wandering off separately. Many friends were there... I felt good about reconnection. One person I hadn't seen in over a year...
(I'm trying really hard to stay true to my own experiences, and not let others' activities or responses retroactively color my judgement.)
Afterward, a smaller group of us stopped by a local coffeeshop for a snack. Orders were repeatedly botched... but one can't expect much at 1am.
