A lovely evening

jayIt was, despite being late leaving here (I helped L move some furniture, she's gaining a roommmate tomorrow) and hitting stop-and-go traffic on US101 all the way from the Richmond Bridge to Petaluma. I was a bit tense after a 2+ hour drive, but Julie gave me a nice backrub as a welcome. (fond smile)
After dinner in Rohnert Park, Julie had gotten us tickets to live theatre at the Spreckles Center -- "The Descent of Ianna", weaving together Sumerian resurrection mythology with a woman's struggle in a mental institution. And it had wonderful puppets...
One side note... Julie has a new sweetie D in SF... he had asked her for a date tonight, but I was already scheduled. D was available because his wife J was out tonight with one of the Ravenheart family. Who in turn had 14 seats reserved at the theatre (out of 85 total), including J and her SO... for some reason this struck me as amusing, although D probably wouldn't think so ;-). After the play we talked and cuddled for a couple of hours, then went our separate ways -- Julie 35 miles north to Cloverdale, myself 90 miles south to Mountain View.
Right now, all three of my relationships are on an upswing, and I feel lucky, and loved, and serene.
