Monday, not blue

Our air traffic control project may be scrapped because the FAA doesn't have its own research budget to do anything with what we would produce... it will be an uphill battle. JL is going to be redirected, and my hours are being curtailed. Fortunately, I've just gotten a go-ahead from a different project (the Mars surface mole). Still, after nearly two years, a serious setback. JL is upset.

And I'm past due on a journal article, a draft proposal and two white papers. And at home, our clothes dryer just went kaput.

Nonetheless, I'm (almost unreasonably) cheerful, and feel like these things can be managed. Already I'm making headway on the draft proposal, and finished the outline this morning. (nods)

Oooo. Does that mean we'll be seeing more of you around the office, then? Does that mean no more 9 am calls on a Saturday morning, and 6 am calls on a weekday?

Good to hear that you're cheerful =) I'm going to be burying myself in work too. I'm happy to hear you can still be motivated.
