Passing note.... yesterday afternoon's Alaska Airlines 2 from Seattle to DCA was the first time I can recall both the captain and first officer being women.

Otherwise... left early, discovered a scaling error in my gravity data while en route from SFO-SEA, had a chat with

gloriajn and brunch at an old hole-in-wall diner near the Space Needle (Mecca Cafe) with

who_is_she. And Thai food late with Pascal Lee where we decided on our strategy for the current round of proposals.

And this morning, there are a few live cicadas (and dead ones) on the sidewalk outside, randomly scattered...

*grins* We just promoted one of our female FO's to Captain recently, so now we do get an all female crew at least once or twice a week. :)

Hopefully becoming completely unremarkable in the future ;-).
