Limited availability announcement

After this month, I'm going to be scarce around here for the next three. And much of the time when I'm home will be spent (re)connecting with Pat and the kids as well as taking care of myself, so there's going to be even less time available for socializing than it appears. Roughly speaking:

June 28-30 Mars scientific advisory group (MEPAG) in Pasadena
July 19-20 Project review at JPL
July 21-Aug 7 Away to Devon Island...
Aug 13-28 family vacation, driving to Kansas (possibly via a northerly route on the return)
Sept 10-30 Away to Spain...

So, if anyone wants to spend time with me, they have the rest of this month, about two weeks in July, a few days in August, a few days around Labor Day, and then nothing until October. Folks in Los Angeles, the midwest, and Edmonton may have a couple of days of availability when I'm passing through...

Heh... after all, you and I used to joke about meeting in the middle somewhere...

In this case, I have family members around Topeka that I haven't seen in years, and an 96-year-old grandmother who may not last much longer. I thought that the kids deserved a chance to meet them. As long as I avoid Fred Phelps and the like... ;-). We would probably see a few national parks enroute both ways.

Ah, I was wondering what brought that on. *ponders* Driving to and from Topeka from Mountain View, with the kids...
