Was duly examined, shots checked (Dt, Hep-A, Hep-B, and rabies all current) and briefed regarding overseas travel this summer... I'm supposed to avoid unpasteurized goat cheese in Spain (brucellosis) and avoid mice in Alberta (apparently, hantavirus is rampant there...). Received an emergency medical contact card and a standard NASA traveller's meds package, including self-administered 500mg Cipro under certain circumstances.

Hep-A and Hep-B are generally recommended for foreign travel, as is keeeping the tetanus booster up to date. QSS will reimburse you for getting the shots done at your convenience, as needed. The rabies vaccination is only necessary for remote Arctic travel, not Spain, as if you were bitten in Spain there are clinics within a day's travel.
