Kudos to patgreene for single-handedly extinguishing a grease fire (8-foot flames were hitting the cathedral ceiling!). No harm, no foul except that the house is apparently full of smoke...

Those could have been *expensive* taco shells, compared to using the pre-folded variety... whew. On to McDonald's , I think ;-).

I wasn't home... but Pat took care of it very well. A basket and the shelves above the range are singed and a bit blackened, and green powder still persists in the crevices of the floor, but it is better.
