jayFrom our drill partner... The DAME drill has finally shipped (4pm, Thursday, 7/15) and is on its way to Montreal and then Ottawa where it will connect to Resolute Bay. In typical New York fashion, a "Jeep" commercial was being filmed on our block precisely at the moment FedEx arrived. Filming (and all traffic) was put on hold long enough to allow us to load the FedEx truck with the precious NASA cargo.
Much less visibly, I packed my camping and personal winter gear and dropped it off at our local FedEx office, this afternoon... we'll see which shipment arrives first ;-)
