Does this refer to the scent of laundry soap? I'm thinking that if there are laundry-washing facilities, there must also be Jay-washing facilities, so you're not using this euphemistically.
Actually, I'm waiting until I have clean, dry clothes before bathing myself, so it is indeed euphemistic. And in the warm indoors, I can smell myself... much less so when it is freezing and I'm bundled under layers.
