not enough challenges, or a different sort

patgreene is in LA for the next few days. I'm home from the Arctic and am now playing single parent... not much to do here, other than paint kitchen cabinets. Went to church, no one had noticed that I was missing for 3 weeks. Took Pat and the kids to brunch afterwards... they were noisy, Pat was stressed.

I'm restless... I had day-to-day challenges, creative problem solving under hard conditions, lots of adult conversation.... now, none of that. No socializing, either... I feel isolated despite all of the noise and clutter down here.

brian, it was nice to see you last night. And it was especially nice to just be for awhile insteade of doing. I have been doing alot of doing these past weeks since i saw you last and It was nice to stop for a while.many hugs T
