The drive northward...

Yesterday we drove from near the Oregon border to Seattle, stopping for lunch in Portland and with a visit to Mt. St. Helens en route. Traffic was heavy into Tacoma... we arrived later, but loitl and who_is_she had pizza ordered and ready.



Pulling into Mt. Shasta for dinner on Saturday, there were a number of large forest fires in the west, causing a beautiful sunset that patgreene is observing... and bits of ash on the car the next morning.


This is the 1940s restaurant where we apparently saw geekchick's aunt and uncle... David and Kevin visible


Stopping for coffee in Roseburg, OR, we saw this interesting store... wonder what it sells?

Mt. St. Helens, very Cool. I was there in 1980 when it blew. Brings back memories.

A completely off the wall comment - BiMart sells everything. They are kind of like Walmart, but have been around longer, and require membership.
