Last night, Nancy watched the kids so that tenacious_snail and I could go out, on our first one-on-one date in months. Tonight, sarahh watched the kids (after trick-or-treating, which I did) so that Nancy and I could go out and have a productive discussion. (Arguably, Les could now do something nice for Sarah to close the loop, but...) It's lovely and compersive and supportive, and I just wanted to note these feelings :).

Other notes... I've now taken four different women to Flames coffeeshop for dessert, this week. And happy Halloween!

I am planning to give Sarah a sweater (well, most of a sweater), so maybe that counts? And I think I'm getting to make gumbo in her kitchen-- I think that is probably a pretty mutual "something nice".
