My oldest son James, who turns 14 in three days, on Monday shaved for the first time (he had developed a faint-but-noticeable blond beard). Doesn't seem like that long since I stayed home with Baby James as a house-husband...
I am so sorry. I just forgot Jamie's birthday. Please, please ask him to forgive me. We have been so caught up in dad's illness. I guess there is no excuse for forgetting your first born grandson's 14th birthday. Please tell him I will make it up to him somehow.
Dad is getting worse according to his doctor. He still makes an effort and seems ok when anyone is around. But when we are alone he mostly sits in his chair or goes back to bed. He is tired most of the time now.
