Your score: 23
0 - 10 = low
11 - 22 = average (most women score about 15 and most men score about 17)
23 - 31 = above average
32 - 50 is very high (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 35)
50 is maximum

This doesn't surprise me, I've noticed several tendencies in myself that were vaguely Asperger's-like, over the years... not dominating, but enough to cause me to wonder if I'm a genetic carrier of something. Which could have been reinforced into full-blown Asperger's or HFA, diagnosed in my son David.

David's score: 33( I had to interpret a few of the questions for him, which could have skewed the results slightly, either way)

Also...
Empathy Quotient
Your score: 62
0 - 32 = low (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20)
33 - 52 = average (most women score about 47 and most men score about 42)
53 - 63 is above average
64 - 80 is very high
80 is maximum

Actually, this isn't a surprise either... reading others' emotional states, and inferring actions and meanings, and putting myself in their shoes are all derived from childhood survival skills for me...

Systemizing Quotient
Your score: 41
0 - 19 = low
20 - 39 = average (most women score about 24 and most men score about 30)
40 - 50 = above average (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score in this range)
51 - 80 is very high (three times as many people with Asperger Syndrome score in this range, compared to typical men, and almost no women score in this range)
80 is maximum

Pattern-matching is hardly a surprise, either... LOL. Would have been higher if I were more organized, or bothered looking at construction details of things I don't own/control...

I know I was the one who mentioned the test...I don't know if I mentioned that I got a 9.

I did the "empathy" test and actually question the validity of the results...because I think that people who *are* empathic are more worried about the cues that they missed or overlook, while people who don't care so much think that they are correctly interpretting others cues and behaviors. Or maybe I just don't like my results because I want to be more empathic than average?

I was sure I would score higher on the eyes test, but I ended up average. I thought some of the photos were hard to see, though.
