jay | Last weekend...

Friday... dropped Pat off at the airport at 6:30am, then kids at school. Then lots of cleaning up... Nancy arrived around 6pm. She and I dropped the kids at KidsPark, went out to dinner, re-established communication, then went home and cuddled emphatically ;-). Then Nancy went over late to L's house, where she stayed overnights.

She came back over Saturday morning, and we did kid-events... household tasks and 3 Little League games. On Saturday night I took Nancy to

eeyore74's and

captivatinglove's lovely party in Menlo Park... it was nice to introduce her to many of the people I know down here. Even though I apparently missed the lap dancing and

hopeforyou's flashing...

Meanwhile,

patgreene was having a music lesson with a friend EA in NYC, walking herself sore in the Metropolitan Museum, and generally falling into a sort of NRE with NYC...

Sunday, I took the kids and Nancy to visit 2 gay male friends, a couple living in Berkeley. I fielded typical questions afterward from my 8 and 11-year olds. (nods) We went up to the Lawrence Hall of Science in the hills above Berkeley... great view. Later we went to a nearby park and rode a small steam train, then back down the hill and got ice cream. After the kids were asleep, Nancy and I watched Red Dwarf and snuggled. Then brunch yesterday morning after the kids were in school, hanging out leisurely, and off to the airport in the early afternoon. Followed by a return trip around midnight to pick up Pat.

Ahhh.... (happy sigh).

Today I got the kids off to school, then took Nancy to brunch, made out again, and then dropped her at the airport this afternoon. Pat will be home late tonight, around midnight (I can call if you'd like).
