anniversary, sort-of

Today's an anniversary of sorts, 4 years with J... since we connected at a party in Woodside in early 2001. Despite two breakups between us since then, I thought the date deserved recognition :).

And it has been only a bit over 3 years since I posted my first LJ comment in geekchick's journal :).

And my negotiations for more drilling automation development are going well, today, and I spent this morning in San Jose as a science fair judge at an elementary school.

One 4th grade project that looked at viscosity using pancake batter... another 6th grade project that demonstrated some electromagnetic relationships... a 2nd grade plant-growth project.
