pleasantly tired
Feb. 24th, 2005 09:31 pmBack from snow. Feeling less melancholy than this morning :).
We drove 8 hours roundtrip (440 miles altogether) from here to Truckee and back, in order to spend the afternoon sledding at 6500' at Soda Springs. It's also a ski and snowboarding place with lifts, and James took beginning snowboarding lessons (with spectacular downhill crashes, later in the afternoon). It was great to do something *fun* as a family again, as well as to do something active outdoors, in general.
Work-wise, the personnel issues seem to be resolving... I was fielding calls about that and new servers for Spain from the slopes today. My area is under pressure... but in comparison to the rest of my division, is considered a bright spot.
