Awk. James had some kind of bug this morning... moderate fever, no appetite, slept most of the day. He's better now, but now I've got it... was hypothermic sitting exposed after the Little League game, once I warmed up I began running a moderate fever (101F). Sigh. Slight dizziness and chills. No couples counselling tonight, I just want to cuddle and hole up. I'm *not supposed* to get sick, hang it, I'm supposed to be impervious and take care of everyone else. Ow. I feel let down by my usually-topnotch immune system...

patgreene has come through her procedure OK this afternoon... some chronic issues, but nothing threatening. She's still groggy after the sedation, and can't drive, so I'm going out to buy greasy fast food for the kids because I have no energy to cook and it's already 8pm... on top of everything else, a partner's first date with someone new is tonight, which is generally stressful and scary by itself. Sigh...
