jayTaxes done... an untimely refinance was offset by patgreene's Jeopardy income arriving in January, so we're getting a small overall refund on both federal and state returns. Large medical expense deductions also played a role... went over the 7% AGI threshold this past year.
Otherwise... Pat and I had planned to go out last night, but instead stayed home and listened to Weird Al and cuddled. This was necessary because James scheduled over the top of us -- made arrangements to have his First Real Date, a movie and dinner with A., without bothering to clear it with us until *after*thats_ms_dragon was already on her way! They were dropped-off at a nearby cineplex, saw "Sahara", ate at a nearby Togo's, and appeared to enjoy each other's company without parents or siblings present. I took A. back across to Hayward, afterwards. At least I'd gotten Pat some lemon chiffon ice cream from Rick's, beforehand...
