Readers familiar with mid-20th-Century architecture and furniture, or frequent MOMA patrons in NYC will probably recognize it:

tenacious_snail and James helped me pick up and move a nice 4-year-old modern-style Italian black leather couch by Celia, replacing a tattered and stained sleeper that we'd had since 1990. I bought it from a venture capitalist who was engaged and whose fiance thought the couch was too large for the tiny living room in his condo... and who wanted to bring in hers.
