Headaches in NYC...
Let's see... the Ames diagnostics hadn't been run yet with the drill server *on a different computer*, only with the server software loaded on the *same* computer. Awk. And it doesn't work over the network.
Georgia Tech's software is being set up and partially coded *here*. They'd not thought how to get live data into the neural net, the neural net software only reads minutes-long input files that are manually edited in Matlab beforehand. So they are writing scripts for Matlab to attempt to get their data from the drill, processed in 1-2min. chunks. Still not real-time, but at least I can finish the system integration. If the Ames software can integrate, first.
I bought a router this afternoon... didn't help an addressing problem. Bought a power supply because HC had brought 2 laptops and only one power supply. Am trying to keep things positive, replanning, repeating our weekly goals like a mantra and *not* hovering over shoulders... my head aches. Sigh.
And it is cold and rainy here in Manhattan, feels like March.

Last night, he ended up working about 2 hours late. I got to chill with a baseball game on TV. Lovely lovely dinner and strolling in Little Italy, shared dessert (something that included cheesecake, chocolate mousee, chocolate cake, nuts and caramel) and also a delightful hot chocolate with frangelico.
I'm faring well in terms of feeling better due to upping the water intake, and I am alsogetting about 2 hours more sleep than he is.
Now...off to the Cloisters

Hang in there, Jay. And thanks for taking the time out to work on my transportation issues. I know it provided a bit of a respite just to think about something DIFFERENT, but it was still time spent, and I much appreciate it amongst all of this.
(hugs)
