Things I didn't know...
Jun. 10th, 2005 09:00 amOn Mars, the atmospheric dust leaves the daytime sky red or pink... but diffraction leads to *blue* sunsets... inverse of Earth. And moondust smells like burned gunpowder. And Lou's in Hanover has great blueberry pancakes...

Inspiration comes from the strangest places
Date: 2005-06-10 04:20 pm (UTC)In the moondust, the air smells like gunpowder
In the moondust, my heart beats a little bit louder
If only we were on earth, dear, the air would smell so sweet
As long as we weren't in New York City or any Los Angeles Street
In the moondust, I think about sunsets on Mars
With the blue light coming down from the stars
It may smell funny, but my honey, let's enjoy the view.
I love that I'm here in the moondust tonight with you!
