jayMore bad weather this morning, 20kt crosswinds and misty light rain at Devon Island, so we're entering our third day here in Resolute. I'm exasperated because there's usually a mid-July break with several days of good weather, which I'd hoped to use to deploy and set up. Now, there's only a little over a week for the drill to be taken over, set up, tested, and brought back... if it slips much further, I may ask everyone to extend their stays. Can't do Arctic work on a tight time schedule....
We have two Twin Otters at our disposal today, being loaded... if/when the weather improves (after lunch?), we'll go quickly. For now... laundry. Morale is surprisingly good, thus far. And thanks tosarahh and Julie and runeshower for chatting, which helps my morale :).
