More bad weather this morning, 20kt crosswinds and misty light rain at Devon Island, so we're entering our third day here in Resolute. I'm exasperated because there's usually a mid-July break with several days of good weather, which I'd hoped to use to deploy and set up. Now, there's only a little over a week for the drill to be taken over, set up, tested, and brought back... if it slips much further, I may ask everyone to extend their stays. Can't do Arctic work on a tight time schedule....
We have two Twin Otters at our disposal today, being loaded... if/when the weather improves (after lunch?), we'll go quickly. For now... laundry. Morale is surprisingly good, thus far. And thanks to![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
