Got IOL access just now, just for today, executive override from the agency head in Iqaluit. Plane comes in 9 hours. Going to roll into the crater and get the gravity data anyway, then some work with the spacesuit, then try to make the plane...

yay YAY yay YAY yay

you love being able to pull things off at the last minute. I am *thrilled* for you that you're getting to collect this data, and that your extended stay is paying off.

I am delighted and excited for you. (and also really proud of you for persevering)

big hugs!

That brings up a question, Brian -- how strong are the gravitational anomalies that you're finding? One part in a thousand? A million?

If you need to take a later plane, say in a couple of days, to get your data recorded, that's okay by me. We'll be fine.
